I'm so sorry, Agnes. I know exactly how you feel. Waiting for the referral is one thing, but having that picture in your hand and knowing a real, live child is out there and you can't be with her is agonizing. It's sometimes made worse by well intentioned friends, family, and colleagues who constantly ask, "When are you going?" or "Why is it taking so long?" We waited 8 months after our referral of Lily to travel to Thailand to bring her home, so my heart is right there with you. Keep busy is the best advice I can give. You are in my thoughts!
