  2. Even though my plane ticket seems to have gotten lost in the mail and I couldn't make it, I am SO glad things worked out so well for you, Agnes. Now, with all those frequent flier miles you get when you travel to the Philippines, you can take your daughter to Disney World in a few years for free! That's what we did!

  5. Wow! That is excellent! We've been looking at the prices and hoping we can actually use some of Murray's frequent flier miles to help us get there and back.

    Blessings!

  7. The holiday boutique at my house was a success!!! Tammy, we had 5 vendors who signed up to come and set up a table to sell their various crafts. They paid us $40 per table and they got to keep their own profits. I also had a table to quilts that were up for sale, which did pretty well. But the true success was from my bakesale! I sold loaves of banana/chocolate chip bread, banana nut bread, and pumpkin/cranberry breads!!!! I also had a cupcake table which were for sale fo $2/cupcake and they flew out the door. Friends also came by to donate brittle, brownies, trail mix etc. for us to sell. Oh, and I also made gag gifts like snowman poop, snowman soup, which sold pretty good too!!! :-) We were overwhelmed with people's kindness. Someone bought a loaf of bread priced @ $5 for $50!!! We have wonderful friends and a great community!!!! I plan to do this every year and donate the funds to the CRIBS Foundation orphanage, as part of a long term commitment and hopefully, a partnership!!!
